Bristol Rovers 1-2 Stoke City
Stoke continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-1 victory at Bristol Rovers, all three goals coming in a busy first half of football.

Tuncay Sanli proved the difference between the sides early on, giving the away team the lead with just five minutes on the clock.

Bristol Rovers found a foothold in the game following the early blow and were rewarded when midfielder Dominic Blizzard placed the ball past Thomas Sorensen in the Stoke goal to make it 1-1.

Two minutes later, the even game would once again become unbalanced in the favour of Stoke, when Ricardo Fuller scored his second goal of the pre-season and what proved to be the winning goal on the night.

Stoke lineup: Sorensen; Huth, Higginbotham, Faye, Collins; Lawrence, Whitehead, Tonge, Pugh; Tuncay, Fuller.
