JC retains Manning Cup with thrilling 2 – 1 win over Charlie Smith

Jamaica College (JC) remained on course for a clean sweep of the senior schoolboy football titles after retaining the urban area ISSA/LIME Manning Cup on Saturday at the National Stadium.

The Miguel Coley-coached team defeated Charlie Smith High 2-1 in the Manning Cup final. It took extra time to win the prestigious schoolboy football title. Read more…

St George’s cool red-hot JC to lift Walker Cup

ST George’s College turned in a virtuoso performance in beating Jamaica College (JC) 3-2 to lift the ISSA Walker Cup trophy for a record ninth time at the Constant Spring field yesterday.

CHARLIE Smith High and St George’s College advanced to the semi-finals of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports’ Association (ISSA)/LIME Walker Cup knockout competition with victories over Wolmer’s Boys’ and Camperdown High, respectively, at the Constant Spring playing field yesterday.

Charlie Smith stunned Wolmer’s 2-1, while St George’s College outscored Camperdown 4-2 in the opening game of the double-header.
